Canal One would like to share the story of a relief mission led by the RV Connex team, who deployed drone technology to deliver food and essential supplies to flood-affected areas in Rangsit.
As rising floodwaters made some areas inaccessible by road, residents had to wade through the water or use floating foam boxes to collect essential supplies, with each trip taking nearly an hour. To help overcome these challenges, the RV Connex team deployed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to survey affected areas and transport supplies directly to people in need.
The mission was carried out in collaboration with Rangsit City Municipality. The TITUM M2-100 drone was deployed to survey and assess affected areas, while more than 300 meal boxes were prepared each day. The TITUM M2-200 drone was used to transport essential supplies and survival bags to locations inaccessible by road, including the Khlong 1 area and nearby communities.
